On April 15, 2021, the Bluetooth Technology Alliance published its new report called “Bluetooth Market Update 2021”. According to the report, although the growth rate of the Bluetooth market has slowed down in the past year, it is expected that the annual shipment of Bluetooth devices will be reached by 2025.

Moreover, the volume will increase from 4 billion units in 2020 to more than 6 billion units by 2025. However, most of the regions are affected by the Coronavirus epidemic, but there are still some Bluetooth markets that have found growth opportunities.

Last year, there has been an increase in the medical environment using Bluetooth medical devices and solutions to minimize exposure risks and improve patient care. Though it is estimated that the deployment of Bluetooth medical location services will increase 5 times on this basis by 2025.

Due to the pandemic, the work from home culture has also promoted the growth of Bluetooth PC accessories. A thing to be noted, the shipment of Bluetooth PC accessories will be 153 million, which is 10% higher than last year’s expectation in 2020.

Apart from this, the rising public attention to health issues has also driven the growth of demand for Bluetooth wearable devices. That’s why it is expected that the shipment of Bluetooth wearable devices will reach 205 million units this year.

Furthermore, the deployment of Bluetooth real-time positioning system (RTLS) will reach 516,000 just because of the high degree of global attention to safe resumption of work solutions.
