This new Samsung conglomerate will work as a network vendor initially, in which it will offer 5G millimeter-wave (mmWave) radio solutions just like Compact Macro. However, it will also open gates for incredible opportunities for the firms that want to work with the company in the field of telecommunication.

“The launch of Samsung Networks Business in Australia will open incredible opportunities for potential partners seeking to explore how the pinnacle of Samsung’s innovation in telecommunications can support the future of network connectivity in this country,” Samsung Australia vice president of mobile Garry McGregor said.

In addition, this new business is also planning to invest in ACMA’s upcoming auction for high-band 5G spectrums, specifically the 2.4GHz and 26GHz bands across 27 geographic regions within Australia.

“We look forward to sharing more news about our plans for the Australian market.”

Besides, these huge efforts of Samsung are made to deploy seamless 4G/5G connectivity, not only in Australia but also in various other regions. To fulfill this motive, Samsung is already working with various network equipment firms from Canada, India, Japan, Korea, the United States, and New Zealand.
