Samsung to announce its U.S. investment plan next month

Samsung is a global leading smartphone manufacturer, which sold millions of Galaxy device units in a single year. To maintain the reputation and grow its market share, the company regularly partners with several tech makers in different categories.

Alongside this, the South Korean tech giant is continuously spreading its business and a new report suggests that it about to announce its investment plan for another country.

According to the info, Samsung is likely to reveal its U.S. investment plan next month. And it is estimated to exceed 50 trillion won investment in the United States and Pyeongtaek.

The report suggests that the investment for the company’s second foundry in the United States is calculated at $17 billion as it considered building the plant in one of Texas, Arizona, and New York. As of now, the Austin foundry of Texas the most promising candidate.

Furthermore, Samsung could finalize its investment in Pyeongtaek in the second half of this year. It’s noteworthy that the groundwork already started in the second half of 2020 while the semiconductor manufacturing equipment could be installed next year and mass production is expected to start in 2023.
