Samsung Internet now offers web monetization via Coil add-on

Samsung Internet is one of the best Samsung apps that we see in its Galaxy smartphones. As it is a web browser, you can do various stuff related to it such as browsing, downloading, watching YouTube videos, and more.

Now, to double the productivity, Samsung Internet just got a new feature in the form of a Coil add-on. This new release specially designed to support content creators without relying on advertising, tracking, or other methods.

Here’s how the Coil add-on works

This new add-on is released by the company known as ‘Coil’ which works for building a better business model for the web. Therefore, to get the benefits user needs to pay a fixed monthly fee that enables web monetization through micropayments.

However, the coil membership costs you around $5 per month that allows earning while consuming content from various websites. As it is now added to Samsung Internet, this will automatically detect web monetized sites and reward creators anonymously.

“It’s also a win for consumers who want an easy way to pay for content and support creators without sacrificing their privacy or suffering through distracting ads and paywalls,” said Stefan Thomas, CEO, and Founder of Coil.

Besides, if you find the Coil add-on interesting you can download it from the Samsung Galaxy Store. After you finish the download, it will be integrated into the Samsung Browser so that you can use it.
