While the patent license case with Ericsson is still proceeding in the US judiciary, Samsung is fighting another case against Solas OLED on the recent trial between both companies.

According to the info, Solas OLED was awarded the multimillion payout in March after a Texas jury ruled Samsung infringed two of its patents by using them in the OLED displays of the Galaxy S and Galaxy Note smartphones.

Moreover, when this argument reached court, it eventually goes as a victory in the favor of Dublin-based patents firm and the Korean tech giant didn’t succeed to won the case.

Meanwhile, the whole scenario came into the limelight when Solas OLED filed another three lawsuits against the tech giant earlier this month which makes Samsung lodge an appeal in the court.

However, the whole suit is against a recent $62.7 million (€51.8 million) intellectual property infringement success of Solas OLED and this is the main point that turned out as a legal issue for both the companies.

Right now, the case is in court and both Samsung and Solas OLED are fighting to win it, while there is no exact details are disclosed from the judiciary regarding proceedings and further judgment.
