WhatsApp will soon add new ’24-hour disappearing messages’ option
Recently, WhatsApp rolled out a new update to the Android beta testers, which allows users to delete the chat from all the linked devices. Previously, this messaging app lets users remove the chat from the same device only.
According to the latest information, WhatsApp is working on a new option to configure disappearing messages, which will available in future updates. However, the company is reportedly developing this functionality since last month.
Debuted late last year, WhatsApp’s disappearing messages feature presently shows just one option to disappear messages after 7 days. Meanwhile, it looks like the company will soon offer an additional option, which will let you chose to disappear messages after 24 hours.
All sent and received messages will be disappeared from the chat after 24 hours when the user chooses the “24 hours” option. Though, this feature is currently under development and the company will soon release it with upcoming application updates.
