Following the partnership with Google, Samsung is shipping the Galaxy S21 series with pre-installed Google Messages app and Google Discover Feed instead of its native services like Samsung Messages. Just like the company’s native Messages service, Google also rolls out new application updates with new features and improvements.

According to the latest, Google released a new update to its messaging app, which comes with One UI-like UI for the Galaxy S21 series flagships. The Google Messages now look quite identical to the Samsung Messages, featuring a large header and vacant space at the top.

It’s worth mentioning that Google Messages comes with integrated RCS (Rich Communication Services), which lets users send and receive high-resolution images, videos, emojis, and stickers to other RCS users. Besides, Samsung installed both Samsung and Google Messages apps in the Galaxy S21 series and users can choose one of them as per their choice.

Aside from this, Google has recently released the automatic call recording feature in the Phone app. If the call recording feature is available in your location, then the new “always record” feature will soon reach your smartphone with a new application update through Google Play Store.
