The Galaxy A51 was launched in December 2019 prepacked with One UI 2 (Android 10). After many days of waiting, users of this device received the update of Android 11-based One UI 3.0 earlier this year which installed various new features and a refreshed UI design. Later, Samsung kicked off the One UI 3.1 update which is currently running on A51 devices.

Now as per the latest info, Samsung has started rolling out the May 2021 security update to the Galaxy A51. The new update carries the firmware version A515FXXU4EUD7. However, the official changelog for it is currently unavailable.

But is quite sure, it won’t include any new features and will only install the security patches of May and bug fixes. Meanwhile, Samsung hasn’t revealed yet what types of security vulnerabilities are fixed via the latest security patches but it is eminent that the FOTA will provide better security to the Galaxy A51 users including system stability.

Initially, Galaxy A51 users in Russia will get the new security update which is further extended to remaining users in various markets. Besides, if you haven’t received a notification for this update, you can manually check through the below-mentioned steps.
