Around a week ago, Samsung released the May 2021 security update to its latest Galaxy S21 series smartphones in select countries including India and Germany. Now, the company started to expand this new security patch to more regions and the Chinese S21 variants are the latest to grab this release.

Identified via release numbers: G9910ZCU2AUDA, G9960ZCU2AUDA, and G9980ZCU2AUDA for the Galaxy S20, S20+, and S20 Ultra, the May 2021 security update is rolling out in the Chinese market in a staged manner. This latest security update brings fixes for different CVEs for better device security.

Aside from this, it also enhanced the Camera performance and Quick Share function for a better overall user experience. However, this FOTA weighs more than 1GB so it is suggested that you should download it over a Wi-Fi or unmetered connection.

It’s worth mentioning that the Galaxy S21 series is the latest flagship offering from Samsung to date. These high-profile S21 phones feature the most powerful Snapdragon 888 and Exynos 2100 chips, One UI 3.1 on the top of Android 11 OS, iconic camera capabilities, and much more.
