New WhatsApp beta update brings back different playback speeds for voice messages

A couple of days ago, WhatsApp seeded a new beta build for the Android users that had enabled the possibility to adjust the speed of voice messages. This update arrived with version number 2.21.9.4, but later the company removed this feature with the next beta release due to unknown reasons.

Now, it seems like WhatsApp developers solved the issue as the latest WhatsApp beta brings back the feature that lets users listen to voice messages using different playback speeds. This new release comes with version number WhatsApp Beta v2.21.9.10.

However, it’s an initial rollout so it may take a bit longer to be available for every WhatsApp beta member. At the same time, this feature is under development that will be available soon for the stable version users with the future updates.

Furthermore, if you’ve updated your WhatsApp to the latest version, then you can easily verify whether the speed adjustment feature arrived for your account or not. For this, you have to play a voice message, if the playback symbol appears, congrats!

Recently, WhatsApp rolled out the v2.21.9.9 beta update, which brings a redesigned chat bar while writing media caption. The screenshot of the user interface shown that WhatsApp has totally revamped the chat bar, which is quite identical to WhatsApp for iOS.
