Samsung’s new promo video suggests Galaxy A82 5G just around the corner!
Ahead of an official announcement, Samsung listed the Galaxy A82 5G smartphone in its monthly updates support bulletin. According to the listing, this device is eligible to get new security updates on a quarterly basis.
Although the South Korean tech giant has not officially unveiled the Galaxy A82 5G, it had launched the Galaxy Quantum 2 in its home ground last month. And the company is expected to market the latter as the Galaxy A82 5G outside South Korea.
Now, it looks like Samsung is all set to add the Galaxy A82 5G as a new member of the Galaxy A lineup. Recently, Samsung enemy Max Weinbach shared a promotional video of the A82 5G, which shows off its bigger battery, IP rating for dust and water resistance, premium camera capability, and more.

Other than this, the leaked teaser didn’t reveal the launch date of the Galaxy A82 5G, while it could happen soon. As mentioned above, Samsung introduced the Galaxy Quantum 2 in South Korea last month and expected to ship this device as the Galaxy A82 5G in the International market.

The upcoming Galaxy A82 5G could feature a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Moreover, it could be equipped with a Snapdragon 855+ processor supported by 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage as well as Android 11-based One UI 3.1 out of the box.
Following the trend, Samsung Galaxy A82 5G highlights an in-display ultrasonic fingerprint reader and stereo speakers, which were previously exclusive for flagships.
