Samsung Galaxy A50 picks up its May 2021 security update
The Galaxy A50 is one of the Samsung devices that are eligible to get new security updates on a monthly basis. Last month, the company released April 2021 security patch with a new firmware update, which also improved Bluetooth connectivity.
According to the latest info, Samsung started to release a new software update to the Galaxy A50 users. This OTA brings system security improvements by installing the latest Android and One UI patches released in May 2021.
Identified via build version: A505NKSU5DUD2, this new update spotted in South Korea. Just after ensuring the stability of this update, Samsung will expand its reach to more countries, which is expected soon.
Other than the security enhancements, this new Galaxy A50 software update comes with enhancements for system functions as well as fixes for some bugs in order to increase the overall user experience.
Back in March 2021, the Galaxy A50 smartphone picked up its One UI 3.1 update, which also added all the goodies of Google’s Android 11 operating system.
How to update?
- Open Settings
- Select Software updates
- Tap on Download and install.
