Clubhouse Android makes its global debut months after iOS exclusivity

Months after its iOS exclusivity, Clubhouse developers announced the Android version earlier this month. Following the initial release from the US, the company has gradually expanded its availability to the UK, Australia, Canada, and New Zealand.

As promised, Clubhouse has officially launched the Android version globally. Now, Android OS-based smartphone users can join this massive drop-in audio chat service via Google Play Store anywhere they live. However, you need to wait after registering until you get an invite text from Clubhouse.

Last year, the number of Clubhouse has rapidly expanded but the app was only limited to Apple’s iOS version. One year after its establishment, the current latest valuation of Clubhouse is approximately $4 billion. Furthermore, Twitter, Facebook, and other social media giants have also launched similar audio chat features.

Clubhouse is a new type of network, where people across the world could come together to talk, listen, hang out, share, debate, learn from each other, deepen friendships, and meet new people. The popularity of Clubhouse is increasing rapidly as people all over the world began inviting their friends faster than we had ever expected.
