Samsung Galaxy S20 FE software update improves Camera, system security in India

Earlier this month, Samsung released the latest security update to the affordable model of the Galaxy S20 flagship. The Galaxy S20 FE update improved the system security by installing May 2021 security patch. However, the OTA still limited to select European markets, and expected to expand soon.

Meanwhile, the South Korean tech giant released a fresh firmware update to the Galaxy S20 FE LTE model in India, which carries a PDA build version G780FXXU2CUE1. Surprisingly, this is a new s/w update but included the last month’s security patch, which was already released for S20 FE in mid-April 2021.

Along with the security patch dated 1st April 2021, the new Galaxy S20 FE update brings improvements to the performance of the Camera for an enhanced photography experience. At the same time, the FOTA also gains the overall device performance.

It’s worth mentioning that the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 series devices have received a new Camera feature called Dual Recording alongside the May 2021 security patch. Well, it’s not yet confirmed whether the Galaxy S20 FE grabbed it or not. We will keep you posted whenever the May 2021 security patch reaches India, till then… Stay Tuned!
