T-Mobile and Sprint’s Galaxy Tab S6 finally gets Samsung One UI 3.1 (Android 11) update

Last month, Verizon released the stable Android 11 update to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 tablets in the US. Now, other carriers are rolling out a major software update to this tablet, which comes with the One UI 3.1 on top of Google’s Android 11 operating system.

According to Samsung, T-Mobile and Sprint bounded Galaxy Tab S6 devices have started getting the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update in the US. Along with this, the new update also brings the May 2021 security patch in order to enhance the system security.

If we go with the official changelog, the Galaxy Tab S5 users receiving the last year’s Android 11 operating system with several new features such as Control Panel, Bubbles, Categorized Notifications, and One UI 3.1. In addition, it also includes major system optimizations for a better user experience.

Apart from this, Samsung’s One UI version 3.1 carries plenty of new features including Eye Comfort Shield, Samsung Free, Object Eraser, Private Share, Buds Auto-Switching, ability to remove the location data of image before sharing, minor UI tweaks, and better system performance that are not mentioned in the T-Mobile or Sprint’s update log.

How to check for updates manually?

Check for the latest update manually by going to your device’s Settings, then click on Software updates, and finally hit on Download and install.
