Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 enters mass production, launching in August this year

Samsung is expected to launch its next generation of foldable smartphones in near future, meanwhile, a recent report reveals that these upcoming devices entered mass production. Usually, the company launches its products around two months after it enters the production process.

According to a reliable tipster Roland Quandt ( via WinFuture.de), Samsung has started to produce the first components for use in the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 3 in large numbers. These are the external elements that will be implemented into the upcoming foldable screen smartphone.

By beginning the mass production of its future foldable device, Samsung is expected to introduce it within the next two to three months. However, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is going to be a high-priced phone, the company is obviously planning to use comparatively restrained quantities.

Samsung hopes millions of foldable phone sales this year

A couple of days ago, South Korean media reported that Samsung has set a shipment target of 6 to 7 million new foldable phones for the upcoming foldable phones. The report also revealed that the company is expected to sell 2.5 million to 3 million units of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and 3.5 to 4 million units of Galaxy Z Flip 3.

Galaxy Z Fold 3 Specs [Preview]

The Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3 will exclusively come with the latest One UI version 3.5 on top of Android 11. Previously, Samsung insider exposed that the upcoming foldables will feature a new adaptive UI, and the name of this UI could be “Split UI”, which radically adapts an app according to the screen size and orientation.

However, there’s no authentic information available regarding the specs or design of Samsung’s next foldable phone, but reports suggest that it will feature an under-display selfie camera, S Pen, IP rating, 120Hz LTPO screen, Snapdragon 888 SoC, etc.
