Launched back in April 2019, Samsung Galaxy A20e came with the One UI 1.1 on top of Android 9 Pie. Later on, it had received its first major Android OS upgrade in the form of Android 10. However, the company has not rolled out the One UI 2.5 update for this device, which is a minor upgraded version of One UI 2.1.

Meanwhile, it looks like the Galaxy A20e will never get the One UI 2.5 update as it directly jumping to the One UI version 3.1. According to the info, Samsung started upgrading the Galaxy A20e smartphone with the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update, by entirely skipping the 2.5 version of One UI.

The Galaxy A20e Android 11 One UI 3.1 update is currently spotted in Austria with firmware version A202FXXU3CUE9. Also, it includes the May 2021 security patch for better device security. Though it’s a major software update, we recommend you download it over an unmetered connection or Wi-Fi.

Last September, Google has finally released the stable Android 11 version that brings various new features and major system optimizations when it comes through software updates. Some major changes include Control Panel, Bubbles, Categorized Notifications, better privacy control, and notification history.

At the same time, it comes with Samsung One UI 3.1, which carries plenty of new features such as Eye Comfort Shield, Samsung Free, Object Eraser, Private Share, Buds Auto-Switching, ability to remove the location data of images before sharing, minor UI tweaks, and better system performance.

How to check for updates manually?

Check for the latest update manually by going to your device’s Settings, then click on Software updates, and finally hit on Download and install.
