Samsung Galaxy S22 might not feature under-display camera tech!

Samsung’s Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G is equipped with the most powerful camera smartphone on the planet, featuring two telephoto sensors for the first time on a mobile phone. It offers Space Zoom up to 100X and best in class OIS, macro, and ultra-wide shots. At the same time, it features a massive selfie camera (punch hole).

Like every year, the South Korean tech giant is expected to introduce enhanced camera capabilities with the upcoming Galaxy S phones next year. However, the Galaxy Z Fold 3 is rumored to come with an under-display selfie camera, fans speculating that the Galaxy S22 will also follow the same.

Meanwhile, it looks like Samsung has no plans to debut its Under Panel Camera tech with the next year’s Galaxy S lineup. According to a recent report, the company has decided that it will not bring the under-display camera function with the Galaxy S22 series, but it will debut with the next Note phones in H2 2022.

Recently, a well-known Samsung tipster revealed that the Galaxy Z Fold 3, featuring an under-display selfie camera, offers better image quality than the currently available UDC smartphones. Meanwhile, the selfie camera hole of the Z Fold 3 looks like a mosaic pattern, mostly in white background.

Aside from this, Samsung could include some noticeable camera improvements with the Galaxy S22 series such as a sensor-shift stabilization system and continuous zoom periscope camera module. Furthermore, it is expected to come with a bigger main rear camera with Olympus branding, ARM GPU-based Exynos 2200, and Snapdragon 895 processor.
