Google says ‘Android 12 Beta’ became the most downloaded Android beta version in history

Earlier this year, Google released the Developer Preview of its latest Android 12 operating system. At the same time, the company published the Android 12 development plan including 3 developer preview updates, and at least four beta builds until August 2021 ahead of the stable version.

Following its schedule, the US tech giant delivered three updates to Android 12 Developer Preview program members. Later on, it had launched the Android 12 Beta program for general Pixel and select non-Pixel phones from different smartphone makers.

However, this version is currently under development, the eagerness of consumers is quite high, reveals Google official. According to the info, the VP of Engineering for Android said that the test version of Android 12 has become the most downloaded test version in the history of Android.

Dave Burke, VP of Engineering for Android said  “by far our most downloaded/installed beta ever”. However, the company official didn’t reveal an exact number of downloads of the Android 12 Betas. It’s worth mentioning that the Android 12 beta is available for various brands such as Xiaomi, OnePlus, Lenovo, and Realme.
