Android 12 Beta 2 update adds new status bar indicator for ongoing calls
Starting this year, Google pushed the Android 12 for developers that lets them understand and develop the applications ecosystem. Later on, the company has announced the Beta program at the I/O 2021 that allows users of select models from different OEMs to test the Android 12 ahead of its stable release.
According to the latest information, the search engine giant pushed the Android 12 Beta 2 update for Pixel users, which comes with a large number of privacy features such as a privacy dashboard, advanced desktop widgets, and Material You dynamic themes.
Following this, an Android developer discovered a small improvement hidden in the Android 12 code, a new status bar indicator, and added to the call process, which can display the duration of the call in the status bar, and has a new design.

It is reported that the Google Phone app of Android 12 Beta 2 doesn’t support this new feature, so users can’t experience it yet and need to wait for Google to release a new version of the Google Phone app. We’ll keep you posted on this story whenever new info comes up.
