With each passing day, we are coming closer to the official release date of new foldable phones from Samsung. The upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 are rumored to be unveiled on August 3rd, while they will be shipped from August 28, 2021.

However, both of these devices got approval from various national and international authorities, the company is now boosting the process for its launch. According to Korean media, Samsung starts shipping the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 to the major network carriers in South Korea.

The report suggests that the Korean tech giant is currently delivering prototypes of its new Galaxy foldables to three mobile carriers – SK Telecom, KT, and LG U+ in order to conduct network compatibility tests. The network interworking test shows whether the new device suitable for the carrier’s network or not.

Adding to this, it is said that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 will cost lesser than their predecessors as Samsung ordered around 60000 units per day and aimed to ship more than 7 million units of the new folding screen smartphone this year.

According to Dailian sources, “if the demand for the Galaxy Z Fold 2, the predecessor, was released at a high price of 2398,000 won, it is likely that this product will be released at 1.9 million won, which is less than 2 million won, so sales volume is expected to increase significantly.”

As always, these are just regular technical practices and we suggest you take this info as a pinch of salt. We are waiting for an official statement from Samsung about its next Unpacked event and upcoming Galaxy products. We’ll keep you posted on this matter! Stay tuned…
