Samsung working to enable Pro Mode for telephoto lens for select Galaxy phones

Samsung’s Galaxy S series phones are commonly known for their powerful camera capabilities, mainly the Space Zoom. With the Galaxy S20 lineup, the company massively expanded the zooming range of the smartphones up to 100x on the top variant, while the based model zoom goes up to 30x.

Moving on, the Korean tech giant introduced the Galaxy S21 series, which also features the same zooming functionalities, and the Galaxy S21 Ultra equipped with two telephoto camera lenses for further image quality enhancements.

As the trend of smartphone photography is rapidly rising, the demand of consumers also following the same. Several phones feature a dedicated Pro mode in the camera application, which consists of several adjustments like exposure, focus, ISO, and more.

Meanwhile, a piece of new information comes up to the light that suggests Samsung is working to bring the most awaited Pro mode functionality for the telephoto lens. According to Samsung’s Camera in charge, the engineers are considering enabling the Pro mode for the telephoto lens as soon as possible.

The company official further said that the camera department has decided to start the telephoto lens in consideration of the suggestions made by many consumers earlier. Furthermore, the developers are examining from various angles to make this functionality possible.
