Galaxy Chromebook Go: Samsung silently unveiled Chrome OS-based affordable laptop

Samsung has silently launched a new affordable Chrome OS-based laptop called “Galaxy Chromebook Go” as a new member of the Chromebook series that also has the Galaxy Chromebook and the Galaxy Chromebook 2. The new addition equipped with an Intel Celeron chipset, stunning design, LTE connectivity, and so on.

The latest Galaxy Chromebook Go highlights a 14-inch IPS LCD display with a disappointing 1,366 x 768 pixels resolution. Under the hood, it equips a 10nm process-based Intel Celeron N4500 processor that features two CPU cores and Intel UHD Graphics with 16 EUs.

Obviously, the Galaxy Chromebook Go runs Chrome OS and available in different storage variants including 4GB/8GB LPDDR4X RAM, 32GB/64GB/128GB eMMC alongside expansion via microSD card. It features a large multitouch trackpad, tenkeyless keyboard, webcam with 720p resolution, and 1.5W stereo speakers.

Additional features include LTE (nano-SIM), Wi-Fi 6 (2×2), one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A port, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Galaxy Chromebook Go weighs just 1.45kg and measures 15.9mm thin even after having a 42.3Whr battery along with a 45W in-box fast charger.

At the moment, Samsung has not revealed the price details and availability of the new Galaxy Chromebook Go. However, it could come with a starting price tag of $299, meanwhile, it features just Silver color, anyways, it looks stunning!
