Last month, Google began the Android 12 beta for Pixel and several non-pixel phones from various OEMs. Meanwhile, Samsung is not taking part in Google’s Android 12 beta activity as it’s going to conduct its own One UI 4.0 testing for the Galaxy S series phones next month.

According to the new information, it is reported that Samsung One UI 4.0 based on Android 12 update project has been entitled “Palette”, which hints at a big visual modification for the Galaxy devices’ custom skin as the One UI 4.0 will be a major upgrade over the current One UI 3.x.

Recently, Samsung insider IceUniverse revealed that the Android 12 testing will start for the Galaxy S series flagships next month. At the same time, the source claimed that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 will come with One UI 3.1.1 instead of the most anticipated One UI 3.5.

A few days back, Samsung enemy Max Weinbach claimed that the company has started the Android 12 firmware development for the Galaxy S21 series smartphones. Meanwhile, Checkfirm detected a new One UI update for the latest flagship phones with version number BUFB.
