No one can beat Samsung when it comes to the timely software updates! Just recently, we saw yet another example when the company pushed the Android 11 upgrade for its two years older smartphone, which cost just $130 at the time of launch.

According to the info, the ultra-affordable smartphone called Galaxy M10s started receiving the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update in India. It’s worth mentioning that the device is going to celebrate its second birthday in two months.

Identified via release number M107FXXU4CUF5, the Galaxy M10s Android 11 update is initially making its way to the Indian market, which also includes the most up-to-date June 2021 security patch for improved system security.

Hey Samsung, teach fulfilling promises to rivals!

With the Android 11 update for Galaxy M10s, Samsung again proved that “it does exactly what it says”! Usually, every Galaxy device gets two, while the flagships and mid-rangers (select) get three major Android updates. At the same time, rivals still unable to deliver this Android OS to its eligible flagship smartphone.

Well, coming to the point! Launched back in Q2 2018, the OnePlus 6 and 6T owners are finally experiencing that they had spent their money at the wrong place as they are still waiting to get the Android 11 OS upgrade even after purchasing the flagship smartphone from OnePlus.

At the same time, Samsung has already updated its every flagship smartphone to the Android 11 OS until the first month of this year, while the rapid rollout is going to cover every eligible Galaxy phone and tablet before August this year.

Lastly, if smartphone software updates matter for you, I suggest you purchase a Galaxy device from Samsung as it surely gets three Android OS upgrades and four years of regular security patches indeed faster than any other OEM.
