Samsung MWC 2021: Live updates – One UI Watch [Wear OS]

Today, Samsung is going to host an online event at the Mobile World Congress 2021 that is taking place in Barcelona. Ahead of the event, the company has already sent the virtual event invites through its newsroom post, a few days ago.

The teaser poster released by the Korean tech giant suggests that it will introduce innovations in wearable devices, smartphone security, and so on. Meanwhile, it’s expected that it will share some details regarding the new Wear OS made by Samsung and Google.

As expected, Samsung unveiled its One UI Watch user experience at the MWC 2021. The company also revealed that its upcoming Galaxy Watch will feature the new and unified platform and One UI Watch later this summer.

Where to watch the livestream?

Samsung MWC 2021 – What to expect

In the agenda section, Samsung mentioned that it will introduce “its vision for the future of smartwatches” at the MWC 2021 online event and “new opportunities for both developers and users designed to deliver a new era of smartwatch experiences.”

New Wear OS [made by Google & Samsung]

At the I/O 2021, Google announced its collaboration with Samsung for developing a unified wearable platform. To do this, both of the OEMs decided to merge the latter’s Tizen OS with the former’s Wear OS. We are expecting that Samsung will make some big announcements on its partnership with Google for Wear OS.

Galaxy Watch 4

Previously, it is said that the Galaxy Watch 4 will be introduced along with the upcoming foldable flagship smartphones this August. Meanwhile, the company’s teaser poster suggests that it could unveil or announce its next-generation premium smartwatch or some of its key specifications.

Galaxy Buds 2

After launching the premium Galaxy Buds Pro starting this year, Samsung is about to unveil new and comparatively cheaper earbuds called Galaxy Buds 2 at the MWC 2021. Just like the Watch 3, the Buds 2 is also tipped to launch alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 3. However, we could see them at today’s event.
