Earlier today, Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S21 FE smartphone has spotted on the USA’s FCC certification. The most interesting thing mentioned in the supporting documents is that the company’s next affordable flagship device is coming with a high-end feature that is missing from the Galaxy S21 Ultra flagship.

According to the info via MyFixGuide, the Galaxy S21 FE bears model numbers SM-G990U and SM-G990U1 for the carrier-locked and unlocked variants respectively. FCC documents revealed that this device support 45W fast charging (11V, 2.25A or 21V, 2.1A).

Back in 2019, Samsung started bringing the 45W fast charging support with the Galaxy Note 10+, followed by Galaxy S20 Ultra. However, the company has stopped offering such a fast charging functionality as the Galaxy S21 Ultra features just 25W charging support.

Coming back, the FCC certification document confirms that the Galaxy S21 FE will come with mmWave and sub-6GHz 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac/ax (Wi-Fi 6), Bluetooth 5.0 (with EDR and LE), NFC, and WPT (Wireless Power Transfer).

The Galaxy S21 FE tipped to highlight a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a 120Hz refresh rate. On the front, it could have a 32MP selfie camera and a 12MP triple-rear camera setup with OIS and 4K video recording @ 60fps.

Just like the Galaxy S21 flagships, the Galaxy S21 FE could be powered by a Snapdragon 888 processor supported by 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of internal storage. Additional features might include stereo speakers, IP68 rating, in-display fingerprint sensor, 4500mAh battery, and more.
