Samsung Galaxy A52 July 2021 update brings remaster image tool, improves Camera and calling
Earlier today, Samsung pushed the July 2021 security patch to its older flagship devices. Now, the company started bringing the same treatment to the recently launched premium Galaxy A series smartphone, the Galaxy A52.
Identified via PDA build number A525MUBU2AUF3, the new Galaxy A52 firmware update equips the latest Android and One UI patches released in July 2021. Moreover, it focuses on fixing the Android Auto-related bug that some Galaxy users were facing.
Apart from this, the new Galaxy A52 s/w update adds an interesting new feature in the Samsung Gallery function called – Remaster picture. Introduced at the Galaxy S21 launch event, this feature analyzes the image to find the optimum resolution, brightness, color, and sharpness to recommend an optimized image.
Aside from the new features, the latest update for the Galaxy A52 improves the camera stability, quality, and performance for better imaging. At the same time, it enhances the face recognition function for a better and extra secure face unlocking.

Furthermore, the update brings improvements for the device’s stability and system functions for a better overall user experience. Not a new thing, Samsung distributing this s/w update gradually, so it may take a while to be available widely.
Over the past week, Samsung delivered the July 2021 security patch to several Galaxy devices such as the Galaxy S10, Galaxy Note 10, and Galaxy S20 series as well as the Galaxy Fold, Galaxy Tab A 8.0, and Galaxy Tab Active 2.
Just to remind, the Galaxy A52 was launched back in mid-March this year that comes with the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 out of the box. In terms of s/w, the mid-range smartphone is eligible to receive new security updates monthly and total of three major Android upgrades.
How to check for updates manually
- Open device Settings
- Scroll down and tap on Software updates
- Hit the Download and install button.
