Samsung Galaxy Note 10 July 2021 security update starts rolling out

Samsung just released a new software update for the Galaxy Note 10 flagship series in Europe. It comes with the latest Android and One UI patches for better system security.

The Koren tech giant improving the security of the Galaxy Note 10 lineup by installing the newer July 2021 security patch, which brings fixes for several CVEs from Google and Samsung.

Users can identify the July 2021 update via version numbers: N975FXXS7FUF5 and N970FXXS7FUF5 for the Galaxy Note 10 Plus and Galaxy Note 10 respectively.

Other than the system security enhancements, the latest release increases the performance of system applications and stock functions for a better overall user experience.

So far, the company has not published the details of its July 2021 security patch, which describes the CVE fixes from Google and Samsung for Galaxy devices. However, it’s expected to be released very soon!

Since it’s an initial release in Switzerland, the Korean tech giant will extend the availability of this firmware gradually. Nevertheless, the changelog doesn’t mention any new feature or major system change.

More Galaxies to join soon

After the Galaxy Note 10 series, Samsung should not take too much time to expand the latest July 2021 security update to more flagship and mid-range phones such as the Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy S20, and Galaxy S21 series as well as Galaxy A51, Galaxy A71, Galaxy A52 and more.

How to check for updates manually

  • Open device Settings
  • Scroll down and tap on Software updates
  • Hit the Download and install button.
