Samsung Galaxy S20 July 2021 update with huge Camera improvements just went public!
Just recently, Samsung released the July 2021 security patch to the Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ devices. And now it’s the Galaxy S20 flagship lineup’s turn to grab the latest security improvements with a new firmware update.
According to the latest news, the July 2021 security update is now rolling out for the last year’s Galaxy S20 flagship series in a handful of European countries including Germany. You can check the new firmware build versions for the Galaxy S20 series below.

According to the latest update log, the Galaxy S20 series July 2021 update comes with a hefty package size of more than 800MB. The changelog mentions improvements for the Camera performance for enhanced imaging experience.

A few months back, Samsung released a new Camera feature called Dual Recording for the Galaxy S20 and Galaxy Note 20 flagships. Meanwhile, the latest update should also add some new Camera features and enhance the performance of this Camera focussed flagship series.

Aside from this, the latest update included improvements for the Quick Share function (again) for enhanced file sharing across Galaxy devices. We wrote again as the company has already improved its amazing file sharing functionality a few months ago.
As always, the company is releasing the July 2021 update to select Galaxy S20 owners in different European smartphone markets, so it may take some time to be available for every unit internationally. We will update this article once the company begins a broader rollout.

- Open device Settings
- Scroll down and tap on Software updates
- Hit the Download and install button.
