Samsung hiked Galaxy A12, F02s and M02s prices in India

Over the past few weeks, Samsung launched several budget smartphones in India such as the Galaxy M32, Galaxy F22, and Galaxy A22. Following this, the company has recently hiked the prices of its previously launched low-cost devices in the country.

According to local media, the Korean tech giant hiked the prices of three Android smartphones including Galaxy A12, Galaxy F02s, and Galaxy M02s. However, the reason behind the price hike is unknown, but market watchers relating it to the global chip shortage.

Initial release price

It’s worth mentioning that the company increased the prices of Galaxy A12, Galaxy F02s, and Galaxy M02s by just INR 500, while Xiaomi hiked the prices of its recently launched Redmi Note 10 phones three times in just two months from its launch.
