Samsung Galaxy M01s started getting Android 11 One UI 3.1 update in India

Samsung’s Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update is now rolling out for the Galaxy M01s smartphone in India. According to the info, the major software update comes with PDA build version M017FXXU2CUG1 and includes a newer security patch as well.

Google’s Android 11 operating system brings major privacy improvements and a number of new features including Chat Bubbles, notification history, better network connectivity, in-built screen recorder, improved animations, and more.

Apart from this, the update also included all the goodies of the latest version of Samsung’s custom skin called One UI 3.1. Along with the radical user interface changes, the new One UI 3.1 update embeds several powerful and user-friendly features for a better user experience such as:

  • Reimagined Home screen & App drawer
  • Improved Samsung Keyboard
  • Attractive Lock screen
  • Better customization
  • Enhanced system functions
  • Improved Camera performance with focus and exposure settings

Aside from major changes and additional features, Samsung also included the latest July 2021 security patch with the latest software update for increased system security and stability. However, the company will expand its availability gradually, till then you can manually check for updates:

How to check for update manually?

As always, just open your device’s Settings, scroll down then tap on the Software updates menu. Wait for update checking and hit the Download and install button if the device recognizes a new OTA update.
