Samsung Galaxy A51 gets July 2021 security update

Samsung is now releasing a new software update to the Galaxy A51 smartphone. It comes with the latest Android and One UI security patches released in July 2021 for better device protection.

Coming to its availability, currently, the Galaxy A51 users in Russia getting the most up-to-date security patch. The update bears firmware version A515FXXU5EUG2, while there’s no new feature mentioned in the changelog.

Starting July, the Korean phone maker confirmed that its July 2021 security update brings fixes for 3 critical and 38 high levels of CVEs from Google. Additionally, it includes fixes for 8 SVEs from Samsung for all the Galaxy devices.

However, the smartphone maker has pushed an initial rollout of the July 2021 update for the Galaxy A51 in Russia, it may take some time to expand in more regions and countries, which could happen in the coming days.

Galaxy A51 Android 12 Status

Samsung has reportedly started Android 12 development on the Galaxy S21 flagship series and it could launch the One UI 4.0 Beta for developers in September, followed by public Beta in October.

If we talk about the Android 12 update for the Galaxy A51 smartphone, it will surely come next year. As Google confirmed the new Android OS has radical design changes, One UI 4.0 will be its polished version.
