Reason behind the suspension of Samsung 99-inch micro LED TV
Samsung has been showcasing the massive Micro LED display at CES over the past few years, but the amazing technology has never reached the consumer market. This year, however, the company intends to change that. Recently, Samsung unveiled the 2021 model of its flagship display ‘The Wall‘ microLED TV in the global market.
However, the Samsung 99-inch micro LED TV launch is delayed. It is explored that the micro-LED market has not yet boomed, and it is due to process factors that production costs increase as the screen becomes smaller.

Though, the Samsung 99-inch micro LED TV has not yet been released. The company explains that “there is a lot of demand for 110-inch micro LEDs, so we are responding first.” The industry believes that ‘price’ is the main reason for the delay in the launch of new micro-LED products.
That’s why Samsung is not very willing to do much of this, at least until the demand for the 110-inch variant decreases. In addition, producing a 99-inch mini-LED TV is very difficult, as the same number of crystals need to be compacted in a small space. This led to the discovery of something small, forcing Samsung to discard most of the panels perfectly.
Another reason for the delay is that Samsung may not receive mini-LED shipments on time, even though it has placed the order well ahead of time. Then again, we can ignore that with the general shortages that have plagued the electronics industry for the better part of the year.
Therefore, the industry observes that if it is difficult to lower the price of a product to the right level, Samsung will not start a new product because it is unreasonable. Moreover, the market is not yet thriving.
