The latest Samsung flagships get Apple iPhones’ wireless charging technology unofficially, courtesy of smartphone camera lens and accessory maker Moment. MagSafe, which is an Apple exclusive wireless charging technology, is now available for Samsung Galaxy S21 series through a compatible case.

According to the info, Moment unveiled its new lineup of cases for Samsung’s Galaxy S21 series in which one case is compatible with MagSafe. It doesn’t mean that the US tech giant and the South Korean phone maker worked together to share this technology.

Moment’s new Galaxy S21 case supports its very own lineup of mounts and tripod systems that are compatible with MagSafe as a way of mounting the phone to cold shoes, car vent, to the wall, and so on.

However, we can’t confirm its full compatibility with Apple’s MagSafe charging, but you can purchase it if the idea of magnetic-based accessories sounds good to you.

FYI, MagSafe uses a magnet to attach a puck to the back of an iPhone to help it charge. It’s quite similar to the technology that has been used to charge the Apple Watch and Apple MacBooks.

As expected by Moment, the case is also equipped with a mount suitable for the company’s smartphone camera lens series, so depending on your model, you should be able to use it with a variety of lenses.
