Samsung One UI 4.0 (Android 12) update to bring new animation, redesigned apps

Samsung’s Android 12 update is a hot topic among millions of consumers that are using a Galaxy device, which is eligible for One UI 4.0 version. The official One UI 4 version is yet to come, but famous tipster just revealed some important information on this matter, which is about its features and changes.

Stable One UI 4 Features Tipped

According to Samsung Insider IceUniverse, the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 (stable) update will bring some noticeable changes in the user interface and functionalities. The update is tipped to feature new and better animations in the UI compared to the current One UI 3.x iterations.

Apart from the user interface, Samsung could present several redesigned applications such as stock apps and system functions. Furthermore, the One UI 4.0 seems to adopt Android 12’s new privacy module, while the so-called graphics module will also be a part of the upcoming major software update.

One UI 4.0 Beta Announcement [?]

Yesterday, the Samsung community manager accidentally published the One UI 4.0 Beta banner, which revealed the Beta activity for the Galaxy S21 is coming soon. Later on, the moderator had deleted the post, which hints at the September arrival of Samsung’s Android 12 update.

In 2020, Samsung launched the Android 11-based One UI 3.0 Beta in September for the Galaxy S20 series. Moving on, the OEM invited the Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy S10, Galaxy Z Flip, Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy A52 5G (South Korea), and Galaxy M31 (India) smartphones for the Beta testing.

Recently, a newly appeared report revealed that the Korean tech giant will release the Galaxy S21’s Android 12 and One UI 4.0 Beta sometime in September, after the stable Android 12 release. After that, it will be expanded to the Galaxy S20 series flagships in October, while the public release in November.
