New Samsung Galaxy S21 August 2021 update improves Camera performance

The international variants of the Galaxy S21 series had already received the latest security patch in select markets. Meanwhile, Samsung is now rolling out a new software update for the Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra in South Korea, which also includes the August 2021 patch and Camera enhancements.

According to the info, Samsung pushed a new firmware for the Galaxy S21 lineup in South Korea, which brings improvements to the Camera performance. It’s worth mentioning that the company is focusing to enhance the imaging capabilities of its Camera-focussed flagship series.

Other than the Camera improvements, the update brings enhancements to the stability of the Galaxy S21 series devices as well as improves the system security by installing the August 2021 security patch, as mentioned at the start of the article.

Will this update come to other regions?

Currently, it’s difficult to say anything on the expansion of the new Galaxy S21 August 2021 update with camera improvements as it’s only rolling out in South Korea. We can expect that the company could give the same treatment to the international variants in near future.

August security bulletin

A few days back, Samsung released the August 2021 security bulletin, which reveals this update brings fixes for 38 CVEs from Google (including 3 critical) and 8 SVEs from Samsung in order to enhance the overall device stability.

You can check for the new update manually by opening your device’s Settings, finding and selecting the Software updates menu, waiting until the phone detects a new over the air update, and finally tapping on Download and install button.
