Samsung’s #StrongerTogether project shows support for Olympic athletes Dlamini in South Africa

On August 05, the first South African of color to compete in the Tour de France took world-class athletes at the Tokyo Olympic Games. His hard work has been fueled by the journey of his career – from his township roots in Capricorn Park, Cape Town to a world-class takeover.

Samsung, as a technical partner for the 2020 Olympics, proudly supported the local champion as he pursued his Olympic dream. In partnership with the International Olympic Committee, Samsung has launched the #StrongerTogether project, where people around the world, including South Africa, can show their support for Olympic athletes like Dlamini.

His first time competing in the South African Olympics, he was one of five men to break the 234km race at the end of July in Tokyo. Samsung talks with an inspiring star.

South Africans are encouraged to support South African athletes like Nic Dlamini at the Olympics and be part of the #StrongerTogether campaign. This includes the opportunity for athletes and Olympic fans to stay connected and enjoy a virtuous walk together with the Samsung Health app.
