Samsung will launch ‘The Wall 2021’ next-gen microLED TV in August 2021 

With Samsung’s, The Wall 2021, the company introduces the following landmarks in micro LEDs, with integrated AI-based gaming technology, 8K resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, and a deep housing component like the previous model, a high-resolution display provides high quality and flexibility in the presentation of content in large areas.

The built-in micro-AI processor analyzes each image before it is distributed to measure the resolution up to 8K, increasing the contrast and minimizing potential noise. This gaming quality was made available to 16 neural network models, all of which were based on AI’s upscaling technology and in-depth learning technology.

Samsung’s The Wall’s Black Seal Technology covers the screen with perfect similarity, creating a seamless canvas of pure black levels with enhanced depth that brings unique contrast to innocent details. With a maximum brightness of 1,600 nits, The Wall provides bright, vivid images even in brightly lit rooms.

The micro LEDs built into The Wall 2021 are also up to 40 percent smaller than the previous model, increasing the black space between individual pixels – and thus enabling the same color display and higher contrast values. 20-bit performance, Microsoft HDR, and Microsoft Motion functions are also integrated with high-quality images at all times.

Content from up to four different sources can be displayed simultaneously in 4K – thanks to the integrated graphics-processing (PBP) function. Eye Comfort 3 technology, certified by TUV Rheinland, which reduces emissions of blue light, ensures good visual comfort.

Modular structure, flexible use

The modular structure of The Wall creates a flexible design that is transformed into a suitable room. In addition to the standard 16: 9 format, concave, convex, angled, or L-shaped installation is also possible. Thanks to the new wireless dock connector and 4 half housing as deep, installation is easier than before.

Three different model variants

Samsung The Wall 2021 is available in three variants: 1.2 mm models (model name: IW012A) and 1.6 mm pixel (model name: IW016A) will be available to corporate customers from August 2021 by Samsung distribution partners. A 0.8 mm pixel wall is expected to be found in the first quarter of 2022.
