Google released Android 12 Beta 4 with Platform Stability, stable coming soon!
Just after releasing the Android 12 Beta 3.1, a few days ago, Google is now sending the Beta 4 update to the eligible Pixel smartphone users. The update will reach every Android 12 Beta member very soon as the company has begun a gradual rollout.
With the Beta 4 update, Andriod 12 has reached the Platform Stability, which is an indication of the conclusion of APIs and app behaviours. Now, the company said that developers need to be prepared with their Android 12 compatible apps as its official release will happen later this year.
What does it mean for Samsung fans?
If the history is any indication, Samsung will begin its Android 12 update adoption process just after its official release, which is set to happen next month. However, the company conducts its own One UI Beta testing activity, the flagships will be invited to join it from select countries.
If the Korean tech giant begins the Android 12-based One UI 4.0 Beta testing in September, the stable could come later this year for the Galaxy S21 series flagships. At the same time, some more Galaxies will also be upgraded until December 2021.
