Instead of the new Galaxy Note, this year, Samsung released the new One UI version along with its new foldable smartphone lineup, which was launched recently. History aside, the One UI 3.1.1 has arrived instead of the most expected One UI 3.5, which clearly hints at NO MAJOR CHANGE.

One UI 3.1.1 Features

As the One UI 3.1.1 debuted with the new Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3, it offers foldable screen focussed features. The first one is the app dock that is always present on the screen and allows you to open 3 split-screen apps at the same time.

Labs brings Windows like task bar

Aside from this, the official One UI 3.1.1 trailer reveals that the company has enabled “advanced features” such as a task bar, and pairs that with the 3-app split screen mode and even more apps in windowed mode, and they all are given an excellent experience.

Optimized UI

In the entire video, we’ve noticed that Samsung did noticeable work on enhancing the user experience on a foldable screen smartphone as all the apps and functions are well optimized even in folded or unfolded screens, which is a big development.

The 1:26 mark of the One UI 3.1.1 trailer shows a massive feature that lets the Galaxy Z Fold 3 users capture images and see them at the same time. On the split-screen, the one-side display shows the Camera function in action, while the second part embeds the captured images.
