On August 12, Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy for the Planet, which is a platform for the sustainability of its mobile communications business powered by scale, innovation, and open collaboration, to take visible weather measures across its business.

Samsung has launched the first set of goals to be achieved by 2025 to reduce environmental impact and reduce resource depletion from production to the loss of its Galaxy products.

Delivering better environmental impact by 2025

Samsung believes that the integration of sustainable practices into each product category is important in reducing the impact on the environment and building a better future for communities around the world and the next generation of designers. Samsung will work towards achieving its initial goals by 2025 and will strive to change its commitment to address more than 2025 new challenges.
