Samsung August 2021 security update released for Galaxy A31

We are going to change the calendar page in few days and Samsung is now rapidly working to seed its September 2021 security patch before changing the month. Meanwhile, the company is regularly expanding its August 2021 security patch to the consumers having an eligible Galaxy smartphone.

In a recent development, the Samsung Galaxy A31 started grabbing a new firmware update over the air, which improves the system stability by installing the most up-to-date Android and One UI patches released in August 2021.

If we go with the changelog, the new Galaxy A31 s/w update brings enhancements to the system functions as well as applications for a better overall user experience. Moreover, it also embeds fixes for some bugs for increased system performance.

The latest security bulletin reveals that the August 2021 update includes fixes for 38 CVEs from Google and 8 SVEs from Samsung for the Galaxy A31 and other Galaxy devices. Other than this, you should not expect any new feature with this over-the-air update.

Back in April 2020, Samsung launched the Galaxy A31 smartphone, which was debuted with Android 10-based One UI 2.5 out of the box. Around for months ago, the device had received the latest One UI 3.1 features and changes along with the Android 11 update.
