Samsung Galaxy M31s receiving August 2021 update with improved WhatsApp

Samsung is expected to release the September 2021 security patch anytime as the current month is going to end in a few days. Meanwhile, the remaining Galaxy devices are continuously receiving the August 2021 security patch in which the Galaxy M31s become the latest.

Identified via PDA release number – M317FXXU3CUH2, the August 2021 security patch is now releasing for the Galaxy M31s smartphone users in India. Except for the system security improvements, the new software update brings compatibility enhancement with 3rd party apps like WhatsApp.

Still, it’s important to install each software update that arrives on your smartphone as it increases the stability as well as brings fixes for several threats and CVEs. To be mentioned, the August patch includes fixes for 38 CVEs from Google and 8 SVEs from Samsung for Galaxy M31s.

Back in June 2021, the Galaxy M31s and some similar Galaxies had received big software updates with a handful of new features such as Clipboard as well as improvements for Quick Share and system applications for better UX.
