WhatsApp Message Reactions: Just recently, WhatsApp has started working on a new feature called message reaction, which allows users to express their feelings through a specific message. Currently, users show their reactions by sending a different emoji after the message or response.

Actually, this feature is currently available on Instagram, Twitter, and iMessage, etc. but in the future, WhatsApp will bring this feature on its own app. Recently, a WhatsApp notification was identified with a message related to message replies.

According to the information, if the user gets a message in the old version, a WhatsApp notification will flash on the screen with a message prompting users to update the app to the latest version. Whereas, users can’t see the message but be careful to get it.

While WhatsApp has not announced this feature yet but the screenshot clearly highlights its arrival. However, there are still a lot of hidden things like what emojis WhatsApp will use to reply to messages, and so on.

Additionally, it looks like this feature will first come to Android devices after this iOS and desktop web. It’s still under construction, so we have to wait for some news to find out more.

We do not know when, if possible, this feature will be released to end-users. If WhatsApp decides to use the messaging reaction feature, it will come first in WhatsApp beta. But considering how early this feature is, we do not expect it to reach WhatsApp anytime soon.

Messaging responds to a growing list of WhatsApp features that are still being developed and have not been released to the public yet. These include a new instant payment shortcut, local backup encryption, new disappearing message feature options, and multi-device support for iPad and Android tablets.
