Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 getting new feature-packed firmware update
Samsung is now sending a new firmware update to its recently launched Galaxy Buds 2 wireless earbuds in South Korea. The update carries build version R177XXU0AUH2 and comes with a package size of less than 3MB.
If we go with the update changelog, the new Galaxy Buds 2 firmware update seems to be focused on bringing the ability to activate the Ambient Sound mode during calls so that you can listen to things around you even during calls. Moreover, you will also be able to activate ANC even without pairing both earbuds.

Aside from functionality changes, the new update further expands the user experiences by adding the ability to double-tap the edge of the Galaxy Buds 2 in order to adjust the volume. Last but not least, the release also improves the overall stability of the new pair of Galaxy earbuds.

The fresh security patch fixes 52 vulnerabilities in Android and Samsung software. Google has patched 38 high-level issues, and one CVE doesn’t apply to Galaxy devices. Samsung has also addressed 13 issues, including bugs related to multiple users, Dex Mode, Galaxy Watch, and Settings.
