Around three weeks ago, Samsung unveiled its third-generation foldable smartphones – Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. These devices run the all-new One UI 3.1.1 based on Android 11, which comes with foldable screen phone focussed features and functionalities.

According to the info, the Korean tech giant has started upgrading the AOD (Always On Display) functionality of the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 running One UI 3.1.1. The new application bears build number 6.3.74.3 and the changelog mentions fixes for screen flickering issues while charging on the Galaxy Z Flip 3.

At the moment, the new Always On Display application update is rolling out for the South Korean variants. However, the update could be expanded for global users outside the home ground of Samsung in the coming days or weeks.

Apart from this, Samsung has recently released the alleged One UI 3.1.1 update alongside the 2nd August 2021 security update for the Galaxy S21 series devices in Canada, the US, and Europe. Although the software information section still shows the One UI version to 3.1 instead of One UI 3.1.1.

The 3.1.1 version of the One UI reportedly brings faster animations, a new weather app, faster pop-up menus, less heating, an enhanced system camera app, and much more. You can see these changes one by one below.
