Cards on the New Tab Page
The company has announced all these new features in the blog post. The first feature to be redesigned is a set of cards that are inserted into a new tab page, which recommends pages based on your previous browsing history to help you retrieve where you left off.
It works on recipes (chrome://flags#ntp-recipe-tasks-module), shopping carts (chrome://flags#ntp-chrome-cart-module), and for recently opened documents in Google Drive (chrome://flags#ntp-drive-module).
Ongoing Search
Chrome 94 Beta also tests the feature to switch between search results from just below your address bar. Have you ever wanted something online on your phone and were annoyed to keep pressing back to skip between search results?
In the new Chrome Beta, by enabling continuous search flag(chrome://flags#continuous-search) on Android, Chrome will display a moving bar at the bottom of the address bar giving you an easy way to switch between search results.
Stylized Quotes
Finally, the third feature to be tested is the ability to quickly and easily share custom-made quotes from sites. Enabling flags to stylize the flag (chrome://#webnotesstylize) on your Android will enable you to create a card with a scale from the page, which you can copy and save or share directly to another app.
All you have to do is press a long piece of text, tap share, and select a template by tapping “create card” from the menu.
To enable these features in Google Chrome Beta, navigate to the chrome://flags in the address bar and search and enable the tags listed above. Alternatively, you can paste one of the chrome://flags links directly into the address bar. If you want to download and try the latest beta Google Chrome 94, you can download it on Google Play.

Google Wallet preps to virtualize US Passports
Google Wallet will soon allow US residents to store their Passports. The company is exploring ways to end the need for physical documents via Google Wallet. The next stop seems to be the passports department, which could be virtualized in the future.
X tipster AssembleDebug discovered that Google Wallet is testing a feature to add Passports in the US. The upcoming function will likely allow you to “create an ID pass with your passport.” However, the feature’s availability may be limited to the United States only.
Google Wallet could create an ID pass for a passport. It would allow users to verify their “identity for domestic flights at select airline security checkpoints or online purchases.” It will be sharable for verification with authorities through NFC or QR code scanning functionality.
Passports could be stored in Google Wallet but users should keep their physical copy. Such kind of document is usually required when you travel abroad. Virtualizing documents is OK but it may create regulatory hurdles given the respective country’s laws and acceptance.
Samsung Wallet is also filled with countless features for Galaxy consumers. It also has local payments support such as UPI in India, which offers ease of access. While Samsung Wallet is unsharable, Galaxy users can enjoy the Google Wallet anytime they want.
Here is a screenshot for the upcoming passport support in the Google Wallet.

WhatsApp verified tick finally matches X, Facebook and Instagram
WhatsApp is updating its verification badges by replacing the green tick with a new blue one. This change is currently being tested with beta users on the Google Play Beta Program.
The new blue tick is a symbol of authenticity for verified channels and businesses on WhatsApp. By matching with the color scheme used on other Meta platforms like Instagram and Facebook, WhatsApp aims to make it easier for users to recognize official accounts.
This enhancement not only improves visuals but also strengthens security by providing a clear marker of verified authenticity. The switch from green to blue provides a secure environment and aligns WhatsApp appearance with other Meta services.
WhatsApp users who have installed the latest beta version 2.24.14.18 can check the blue checkmark on the official channels. This feature will gradually rollout to more beta testers in the coming days.
