No icon changes with One UI 4, Samsung Email gets Android 12 support
Samsung is going to conduct its Android 12 (One UI 4) Beta program in the coming days in which the Galaxy S21 series will become the first to be invited. However, the devices have not yet received any Android 12-based One UI 4 Beta update, while apps are getting support in advance.
According to the info, Samsung released the Android 12 support for two new applications called Samsung Email and Global Goals. The former getting Android 12 support with a new security patch and further improvements, while the latter is getting the same treatment with performance enhancements.
On the other hand, reliable tipster IceUniverse revealed that the One UI 4 update won’t bring big icon changes yet again. For years, Samsung consumers are waiting to see more enhanced and Apple iOS like high-res system icons, but the Galaxy device owners will have to deal with low-res icons.
Anyone who owns both a Samsung mobile phone and an iPhone can see this difference.Regarding this issue, Chinese users have given feedback many times, and the South Korean headquarters may not be aware of this issue so far.

With the One UI 3.0, Samsung introduced radical design changes in the user interface, while its expected that the upcoming One UI 4 won’t follow the same, however, it could adopt some functionalities of Google’s Android 12 for a neat and clean interface.
