Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ 5G gets September 2021 security update

Samsung released the first Android 12-based One UI 4 Beta update for the Galaxy S21 series smartphones in several countries. At the same time, the company is working to expand the One UI Beta program for the consumers in the remaining 4 countries.

Aside from this, the OEM is also releasing the September 2021 security update to the eligible Galaxy devices in which multiple phones have already received. Well, the latest Android patches are now reaching the company’s latest and premium tablet – Galaxy Tab S7+ 5G across Europe.

Identified via PDA release number T976BXXU2BUI1, the Galaxy Tab S7+ 5G September 2021 update is rolling out in Austria, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Luxembourg, Nordic countries, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Southeast Europe, Spain, Switzerland, the Baltic region, Netherlands, and UK. September 2021 security patches come with fixes for 46 CVEs from Google and 23 SVEs from Samsung for the Galaxy devices. Besides, it’s also expected to include a fix for Android Auto-related issues to affected Galaxies. (Read more)

If you want to check for firmware updates manually, open the device’s Settings, tap on Software updates, hit the Download and install button if your phone detects a new OTA update.
